Student Viewpoints over Student Life Topics or Events

For years, Jesuit students who fail to get a junior lot parking pass have been pushed to the outskirts of the school and forced to make the perilous walks from Willow to school, regardless of weather. These students struggle through the rain and cold to make a slightly longer walk than the rest of the students who purchased parking passes...
With a new president comes a new and completely different position on important issues burdening the nation today. Several people in our nation, including some seniors from our very own school, hold strong stances on some of those issues and hope that our new president will hold strong positions on them as well. In order to allow their voices...
Music is a means of expressing emotion and passion. Whether it be The Fray’s tragic How to Save a Life or  IZ’s dreamy Somewhere over the Rainbow, music can exhibit love and excitement and grief and despair in a way that no other art form can, with a story of chords, melodious and dissonant, that sound straight to your...

As this school year draws to a close, some students in the Class of 2016 shared some of their new-found wisdom with the underclassmen at...
“Hey Chan, I need to talk to you about something.” As soon as my mom uttered this daunting phrase to me, my first thought was, “Uh oh, what did I wrong this time? Little did I know, she was about to give me some of the best news I had ever received in my entire life. “You can go back to...
