It's no secret that Jesuit is known for its exceptional sports teams. However, non-mainstream sports such as robotics and bowling aren't always the first that come to mind when someone mentions Jesuit sports, but that doesn't mean that they aren't impressive. This past week, the Jesuit robotics team, a.k.a. the Jesuit Allsparks and Team 2848, competed at the National FRC...
The game begins. Jesuit's robot is racing around the court, collecting balls and launching them into the overhead goal. Until disaster strikes, disaster for the other teams at least. The Jesuiot Robot and another team's robot collide, and the other team's robot is flipped over, lying helpless on the ground. Only a little bit later, the Jesuit robot collides...

The best wrestlers in all of Texas are gathering at the Curtis Center in Garland, Texas on February 14-15. There, they will compete in the hardest tournament since the Texas Outlaw, the 2014 UIL Wrestling State Tournament. There, they will meet considerable opponents such as undefeated Kai Holland of Katy Seven Lakes, who Varsity wrestler Shane Ross '15 will...
Wave after wave of competition comes forward, but after each round, the Jesuit wrestlers still stand. Eight schools from all over the district met at JJ Pearce High School for the District Wrestling tournament, but none of the schools seemed to be able to stop the Jesuit Wrestling team as seven members managed to advance to the Regional tournament. On...
Hundreds pour into the Jesuit basketball gym. On the center mat, Varsity wrestler and Jesuit junior Shane Ross takes his stance against the opposing Flower Mound wrestler in the 128 pound finals of the Ranger Classic. Practically a bulk of pure muscle, even Shane's looks are intimidating, donning a large black mask to protect the cut above his eye. As the...
